Abstract:

Scanning Hall Probe Microscopy (SHPM) is a scanning probe microscopy technique developed to observe and image magnetic fields locally. This method is based on application of the Hall Effect, supplied by a micro hall probe attached to the end of cantilever as a sensor. SHPM provides direct quantitative information on the magnetic state of a material and can also image magnetic induction under applied fields up to ~1 tesla. This method is non-invasive with high spatial resolution and sensitivity. Furthermore, this microscopy technique can be operated in a wide range of temperatures while the magnetic field caused by hall probe is so minimal, which has negligible effect on the measuring process. Meanwhile, the sample does not need to be an electrical conductor, unless using Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) for height control. SHPM measurements can be performed in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) and are non-destructive for crystal lattice and complicated structures.

Abstract:

Semiconductor 2DEG with scanning hall probe microscopy Probe devices technique have been employed in the Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ superconductor to explore for new phases of vortex matter in single crystals. Josephson vortices (JVs) and pancake vortices (PVs) are two orthogonal forms of flux structures that are created in the crossing lattices regime of these highly anisotropic superconductors when the magnetic fields are slanted (JVs and PVs). Studying the interaction of JV-PV material with extremely high in-plane fields has been done using SHPM technology. As a result of both in plane and out of plane fields, the spacing of JV chains has been measured. A surprising discovery is that the JV chain spacing is not simply dependent on the in plane field, as determined reliably, and that the functional anisotropic, , γ_eff, is highly dependent on the out of plane field strength. Furthermore, the Josephson vortices stack spacing displays noticeable sawtooth-like oscillations as a function of the out of plane field while the in plane field is fixed. In extremely anisotropy cuprate superconductors with large Josephson vortex stack densities, these observations are revealing previously unknown features of crossing vortex lattics.

Abstract:

Magnetic Measurement Lab is one of the most significant divisions of Research and Development (R&D) Lab of Iranian Light Source Facility. The main duty of this lab is to measure and check qualification of the accelerator magnets, including permanent and electromagnets, being applied in Iran for the fisrt time. The ILSF measurement lab consists of precise measurement equipment, in proportion to synchrotron needs, such as Hall Effect probe measurement bench, rotating coil and Helmholtz coil. Recently, the lab has been provided with Hall probe measurement bench and uncompensated rotating coil and has made it possible to measure prototype magnets. In this article, the results of measuring quadrupole prototype are studied using Hall probe and rotating coil, to determine and compare errors in measuring multipole magnets and their sources.

Abstract:

The multipurpose hall studied here is the part of design project of gorgan music hall designed in the centeral region of gorgan and submitted in the final project of first author’ s master thesis. The aim of establishment of multipurpose hall is creation of a space that be suitable for speech and music performance simultaneously. According to the evidences the reverberation time is most important parameter for performance design. This value was considered 1. 0(s) for speech and 2. 0(s) for music in average. Having volume and effective absorber surfaces values and using Sabine equation for RT, absorption coefficient was obtained for different parts of the hall. Due to assumed data, the values of C50, C80, ALcons, CD, D/R ratio, both for the music and speech were presented. Some of the results given to standards were suitable and some another were rather acceptable. Finally, several solutions were presented in the analyzing part for the best result.

Abstract:

Probe interval graphs are used as a generalization of interval graphs in physical mapping and sequencing of DNA. In this article has been shown that probe interval graphs are weakly triangulated and consequently are perfect. Furthermore, probe interval graphs have been determined according to consecutive order of their intrinsic cliques.

Abstract:

In 2008, in a field survey on mites associated with poplar trees in Razavi Khorasan province (NE.Iran), specimens of an eriophyid were collected. The specimens were sent to Dr Xia-Yue Hong for identification. As result, the eriophyid Aculus dimidiatus (Hall) is recorded from Iran for the first time. The eriophyid reported here was found vagrant on under surface of leaves of eastern cottonwood (Populus deltoides) (Salicaceae). Samples of this mite are held in the author's collection at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran and in Dr Hong's collection at Nanjing University, China.

Abstract:

The main goal of this work is to get the fabrication technology of the insertion devices. A prototype undulator with the period of 48mm and the peak magnetic field of 0. 75 T has been fabricated using NdFeB-SH35 magnets based on the cooperation between ILSF and NSTRI. The total magnet length is 483 mm and the number of periods is 8. The magnetic parameters of the undulator are determined in order to reach the first and third harmonics. The photon energy should cover 260 eV to 2000 eV range. In order to control the strong attractive magnetic force between the upper and lower arrays, a special mechanical mechanism has been designed and fabricated. The source of errors in the magnetic field has been discussed. The share of each errors has been investigated in the total magnetic field and their effects on the harmonics intensity have been studied. The RMS field error has been obtained to be 0. 4%; also, the first and third harmonics intensity reached to more than 80% of the ideal intensities in the presence of the real magnetic field.

Abstract:

Theory and experiment of a spherical probe-fed conformal antenna with a parasitic element mounted on a spherical multilayer structure are presented in this paper. Rigorous mathematical Method of Moments (MoMs) for analyzing various radiating spherical structures is presented in this paper by using Dyadic Green's Functions (DGFs) in conjunction with Mixed Potential Integral Equation (MPIE) formulation. Linear Rao-Wilton-Glisson (RWG) triangular basis functions are applied in MPIE formulation. Current distributions on coaxial probe and conformal radiating elements are computed by using spatial domain Dyadic Green's Function (DGF) and its asymptotic approximation. A prototype of such an antenna is fabricated and tested. The effect of the parasitic element on the input impedance and radiation patterns of the antenna is investigated. It is shown that the antenna characteristics are improved significantly with the presence of the conducting parasitic element. Good agreement is achieved between the results obtained from the proposed methods and the measurement results.

Abstract:

An archaeological survey in 2004 in Mianab of Shushtar in Khuzestan, as well as excavations in 2005, led to the discovery of a Sasanian government hall and valuable stucco carvings. This article examines this hall and compares it with sites such as Damghan Hesar Hill and Hajiabad Lord’s House, as well as Chaltarkhan and columned halls of Bandian Dergaz Hill C. The result of this research shows that given the Sasanian columned halls that have so far been identified not older than the time of Bahram V (420-438 AD), the Dastova government hall probably dates back to the middle to the end of the Sasanian period.
